Ash
Owner - Senior Drum Teacher
Falling in love with music from a very young age, Ash began his musical journey by playing both the bass and guitar while at school, thanks to an inspiring teacher, Ms. Small, who offered him lessons and nurtured his talent. As he approached the end of high school, he picked up the drumsticks and never looked back, finding his true passion in percussion. Completely self-taught, Ash made the decision to pursue a career as a drummer after extensively playing and gigging with multiple bands across a wide variety of genres. Now, Ash is here to share and pass on his valuable knowledge, experience, and effective methods with you, aiming to inspire and elevate your own musical journey.

Naturally left-handed, Kane opted to play right-handed and proceeded to develop his craft, building his hand technique and spending countless hours practising and perfecting his sound.
Citing influences from players such as Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Guthrie Govan, Kane’s style is firmly rooted in guitar-driven music.

Kane spent 5 years as the Head of Guitars at The Academy of Sound in Hanley with Chris Poole, who is now the Manager of the music shop here at Staffordshire Music Hub.
